📌 Table of Contents
Quotations, Pricing & Payment Terms
All financial transactions and pricing structures under this terms and conditions container supply hub policy are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless explicitly stated otherwise.
-
Quote Validity: Freight and container quotes remain valid for 14 calendar days from the date of issuance due to fluctuating steel prices and transport fuel surcharges.
-
Payment Schedules:
-
Standard Raw Containers: Full payment must be cleared prior to dispatch from our depots.
-
Custom Modification Builds & Modular Homes: A 50% deposit is required to commence fabrication, with the remaining 50% balance cleared prior to site delivery.
-
Delivery Access & Customer Site Responsibility
Container Supply Hub coordinates transport using third-party heavy haulage partners. It is the buyer’s sole responsibility to ensure the delivery site is accessible and suitable.
-
Site Access Checklist: Buyers must ensure adequate overhead clearance (minimum 4.8m) free from branches or power lines, and firm, level ground.
-
Failed Deliveries & Abort Fees: If a truck arrives at your site and cannot drop off the container due to boggy ground, locked gates, restricted turnarounds, or overhead obstructions, the customer will incur redelivery and futile journey fees.
-
Property Damage: Neither Container Supply Hub nor its transport drivers accept liability for damage caused to lawns, driveways, underground pipes, or fences when entering a customer’s private property at their direction.

Order Cancellations & Refund Policy
Our refund policy operates in strict alignment with Australian Consumer Law (ACL) set by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC):
-
Standard Stock Containers: Orders cancelled prior to dispatch incur a 10% administrative restocking fee. Once a container has left the depot, transport costs are non-refundable.
-
Custom Modified Builds & Container Homes: Deposits for customized units (cutouts, electrical wiring, spray insulation, custom paint) are non-refundable once engineering or fabrication work has begun.
-
Minor cosmetic blemishes: Second-hand/cargo-worthy containers feature dents, rust spots, and panel repairs typical of ocean transport. These cosmetic traits do not constitute major defects under consumer law.
Council Approvals & Statutory Compliance
Unless explicitly agreed upon in writing, Container Supply Hub supplies structural units on a direct supply basis.
-
Local Council Permits: The buyer holds 100% responsibility for verifying local council zoning, development applications (DA), land setbacks, and building codes prior to purchasing.
-
Exempt Development: While temporary farm storage sheds may not require permits in certain rural zones, livable units usually do. Check our Council Approval Guide for reference.

We back our units with standard structural guarantees:
-
New Build / Single-Trip Containers: Covered by a 5-year structural warranty against manufacturing defects and water leakage.
-
Used Cargo-Worthy Containers: Guaranteed Wind and Water Tight (WWT) with functional door seals and solid timber flooring at time of delivery.
